Hello and welcome to the Prineville Farmers' Market blog! It is April 8th and plans are starting for the 2008 season of the market. We will be located again this year in the Plaza on 3rd Street across from the county courthouse. At this time we are looking for vendors and sponsors for this year's event. All vendors will need to fill out an application and be accepted BEFORE they can set up at the market so it's very important to go to our website at www.prinevillefarmersmarket.com to download the form and get it sent in ASAP.
Vendors are an important element in our market (since there would be no market without vendors!) but sponsors are just as important to the success of the market. For 2008 we will continue with the $100 sponsorships for local businesses. For $100 the sponsoring business name will be printed on signs hung at the market every weekend. The sponsoring businesses will also be included in all printed materials and listed on our website. Without sponsorships the market would be unable to offer vendor space for the current $10 weekly fee. We need sponsors!
